The Incident: The Home Ministry of Malaysia decided to ban the book from the country, citing it "is believed to have elements that can deviate Muslims from their faith and which insulted Islam, [and] has received numerous complaints" [2]

Results of Incident: Manji and human rights organizations have protested against the ban, but it has not been revoked.
